September 25, 2017

Being a Puyallup, Washington Family Photographer, I always like to scope out places to take pictures. If I could, I would love to take families out to Naches Peak Loop Trail near Mt. Rainier or Rattlesnake Lake near Snoqualmie Pass. There are tons of beautiful places in the cascades worth traveling to take amazing pictures but if you want to find a quick fall location to take pictures, these places are commonly visited but very local and easily accessible.

Here are three good ones to visit. I have to warn you these pictures were taken the other day but I'll assure you these parks will be looking like fall in no time!

1. WRIGHT  PARK

This place has a fountain pond, an Botanical Conservatory and huge established trees. When the leaves turn, it'll feel like the best place to be during the fall season. Perfect for a stroll in the park.

2. WAPATO PARK

Once you drive in you are welcomed to rows of big white pillar structures coated with fall colored trees. There are areas to take beautiful pictures like by the lake,  the stone bridge or also near the friendly dog park.

3. POINT DEFIANCE PARK

This park is known for all sorts of things like the Fort Nisqually Museum, Owen Beach and of course the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium.  The park is a real gem because there are so many places to take pictures for every season.  This place offers lots of variety backgrounds. It's no wonder it's a photographers galore and even the public's favorite place to be.
