Wanna know a great place to take your family during this winter season? Come check out Leavenworth, Washington. It’s a small town just 2 hours from Seattle.
As soon as you drive out east, you’re welcomed with a change of scenery from rolls of mountains and trees for miles. No wonder it feels great to get out the city and spend time in the great outdoors.
This village have so much to offer through all seasons but my favorite part would have to be the magical Christmas feeling during winter time. It’s a must to see this Bavarian town decorated for Christmas that last all the way til’ Valentine’s Day!
We stayed the night at this adorable place called Icicle Village Resort. We loved how we spent time together playing games at the recreation center and the convenience to eat at a gourmet restaurant on site. We didn’t get a chance to play their miniature golf course or heated swimming pools but I’m sure it’s something all families can enjoy while staying at this hotel.

We visited most of these places that was listed above. My daughter had fun feeding the reindeers and most of all we enjoyed spending time together. I have to say it was a nice visit to Leavenworth, I’m sure we’ll visit again. I hope someday you and your family get to visit too!
